SERVICE, REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE  

Surfacing owner/operators will have invested heavily in their own equipment, and will recognise the benefits of ensuring that a properly planned preventative maintenance programme is followed. They know that the prudent investment in maintenance will yield considerable long-term cost benefits and maximise machine availability and durability. Effective maintenance will help to avoid costly breakdowns (which inevitably happen at the most critical point of a contract), and enable service planning when it suits your contract schedules. 

Have your machines serviced or refurbished when it suits you (particularly useful during any ‘quiet’ or holiday periods) so having least effect on scheduled work. 

For pavers we recommend that basic maintenance is conducted every 6 months (or 500 operating hours), with a full service at 12 month (1,000 hour) intervals. Full refurbishment of pavers can be tailored to each machine or customer’s preference, and can even include full re-spray.  

Basic maintenance to a paver can be undertaken in just 1 day, whilst an annual service will usually require the machine for 2 days. We can quickly turn around machines to minimise the period that you are without your own machine, and even plan it during public holidays when the machines may otherwise stand idle.

We can structure a maintenance schedule for you, and prompt you when work is due. This will help with your contract planning whilst ensuring that preventative maintenance is completed as required in order to maintain your investment in the best condition.
